As a coach or volunteer, you are expected to understand and comply with the policies relevant to your role. Your Director or Coordinator will guide you through these during your onboarding and direct you to any additional role-specific procedures.

As a volunteer, you are expected to:
✔ Read and understand the policies relevant to your role.
✔ Follow College procedures and reasonable directions provided by your Director or Coordinator.
✔ Maintain professional boundaries at all times.
✔ Support the College's child safeguarding commitment.
✔ Report incidents, hazards and concerns promptly.
✔ Seek guidance whenever you are unsure.
If you see, hear or become aware of a concern about the safety or well-being of a student:
If a student is in immediate danger, call 000.
Report the concern immediately using the College's reporting process.
If you're unsure, report it anyway.
The College will determine the appropriate reporting pathway.
Report a Concern
Report all:
injuries;
hazards;
near misses; and
property damage
as soon as practicable to your Director or Coordinator using the College's reporting process.
Report an Incident or Hazard
Your Director or Coordinator will advise which policies apply to your role. All volunteers should be familiar with Child Safeguarding, the Code of Conduct and Work Health & Safety expectations.
Speak with your Director or Coordinator before proceeding.
