Our coaches, volunteers and co-curricular personnel play a vital role in helping students develop confidence, character, leadership and a lifelong love of learning beyond the classroom.

Whether you are coaching a sporting team, supporting the Performing Arts or volunteering in another capacity, your contribution helps create opportunities that positively shape the lives of our students.

Before You Apply

Before submitting your registration, please ensure you:

• Support the values and mission of St Joseph's Nudgee College and Edmund Rice Education Australia.

• Are committed to maintaining a child-safe, respectful and inclusive environment.

• Understand that co-curricular volunteers are required to complete the College's onboarding process before commencing.

• Understand that this includes screening and verification through the Queensland Blue Card requirements, mandatory learning, and role-specific induction. Visit the Queensland Blue Card Services website. 

• Are willing to comply with the College's Child Safeguarding Framework, Code of Conduct and other applicable policies.

What Happens Next?

Once your application has been submitted, the College will guide you through the remaining onboarding process.

Your appointment may include:

✅ Suitability assessment

✅ Blue Card requirements (where applicable)

✅ Reference or qualification verification (where required)

✅ Completion of mandatory Volunteer Induction

✅ Familiarisation with College policies and procedures

✅ Role-specific information and training

You will be advised when you are approved to commence your volunteer or coaching role.
